Colloidal silver is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal. It also has strong antiparasitic qualities and has even been used to treat malaria in third world countries, with fantastic results. However, scientists aren’t exactly sure why it can do what it does. There are some theories, but I won’t bore you with them for now. One thing is for sure, though: Silver is deadly to a wide range of pathogens including staph, strep, even anthrax. - Viral infections (hepatitis)

Because each Colloidal Silver product can vary significantly from different manufacturers, there is really no way to give a standard dose recommendation for all products. Just follow whatever dose they recommend on the bottle, and remember you don’t have to worry about overdosing on this, so even if you take more than the recommended amount (which many people do) then it will be no problem. I know people who take an ounce a day just to keep from getting sick, and they’ve never had any problems or side-effects.
For children, the dose is generally half of that used for an adult. For pets (of course depending on size) you would use approximately the same amount as for children, or maybe a little less. Again I know people who give this to their pets regularly with no problem whatsoever.
